In 2012, Daniel left his role in financial services, frustrated by the lack of resources to truly help people after the 2008 crash. Seeking a more impactful way to serve others, he discovered Medicare and its focus on the 65+ community—aligning perfectly with his passion for making a difference.

Our personal experience of watching a loved one struggle with health challenges solidified our commitment to working with the 65+ community. We saw firsthand the difficulties families face navigating health benefits and felt a calling to provide the guidance and support they need.

In today’s Medicare landscape, where misleading ads, undertrained call center staff, and auto-dialers push unnecessary changes without transparency, we saw an opportunity to make a difference. With Maricela’s nonprofit and advocacy background, we founded Axia Senior Insurance Advisors in 2017 to become the trusted educators and advocates the 65+ community deserves.

In 2020, we expanded our services to include health insurance solutions for individuals under 65 through Axia Health Insurance Advisors, serving individuals, families, self-employed, and small business owners.

Today, our agency has grown with several agents across the U.S. and Mexico, and in 2024, we launched Senior Health Agent Hub—a platform created specifically for aspiring Medicare agents. It offers the tools, resources, and support new agents need to build a successful career in the Medicare insurance industry.
